just 4 fun
I don't remember his name, but, they had a RB back in the early 90's who was a stud...Would just as soon run over you as around you and could do both..

THUNDERBIRDS
My Junior year we played against Jimmie Baughman(sp). What a stud!!!!! My Senior year we played against a soph with the last name Walker and Donnie Redd was a Freshman. You talk about the best 1-2 punch in the State. Wow!!!!!! RebelC3PO
Jeremy Britt. Transfered in from the Bowling Green area.
PurplePride92
Britt transfered in from Warren East which is in the Bowling Green area. All of those guys previously mentioned Baughman, Walker, Redd are all legendary Danville football players in their own right. I'll ask some of the Danville faithful at work tomorrow and see who they say. That question is liable to end up an all week discussion at work. joedirt
Chester Ford. Man among boys......I think he was bored half the time he was so much better.
strongopenyon
Is there any argument? Chris Jones, Class of 1978, the "Danville Bull". If you were a running back and Barry Switzer of Oklahoma sat in your living room attempting to recruit you in the late 1970's, you were a stud puppy! I honestly feel Chris would have played in the NFL if it were for his nasty knee injury while at UK.
RebelC3PO
Chester Ford...good one. Forgot about him. He was pretty tough. It will be interesting to hear what comes from Purple Haze' work conversation about him.
RebelC3PO
Correction. Purple Pride's conversation.
stick1
Ford for me. Britt was a good one too. Pennix+Turner were a nice backfield. My one vote would be Ford though.
stick1
On that note, is Turner the RB at Marshall? I flipped through the games on Sat and there was a Kelvin Turner running the ball.
PurplePride92
Yes, that's Kelvin Turner from Danville. There were a few former Central Ky high school stars playing on tv Sat. Brandon Smith played a couple of series against Florida and Darius Baughman got tv time as well.
HitStick
Id definitely go with Chester Ford
