IMO-Trent Maddox will be the best player in the region. He played last year in the shadow of Perkins and Edmonson, manytimes to the teams detriment. It isnt just his production its also the way he moves without the ball. Walton and Simon dont have an answer defensively.

How about we let him have a chance to even be the number one option on his team before we put him in the company of Penny, Dunlap.

Very well put :thumb:

Hey Matic!! There are 16 regions. Last time I checked each region plays in a tournament in March and the winner goes to Lexington and plays at Rupp Arena. The 8th region has one of those teams.

Speak up, what region are you talking about that is so hands down better than the 8th?? I think the 9th was dispelled earlier by nkysportslegend.

If you are going to jump on the 8th region, you had better hold on. It may not be the best, but the passion for the game by their fans is second to none. :thumb:

Trimble Co. has got a new player on the team also. He came last april. He played for Louisville Moore Sophmore year and started and played for Louisville Male his freshman year. He plays football right now and is really contributing in that also. He is starting WR/CB he is number 5 if you seen him.

I saw trimble play this summer against Carrol Co and that smashed them 57-39. I wouldn't count them out just yet.

SLEEPER: TRIMBLE COUNTY

If the game you saw was at Gallatin Co. I was present there also. Carroll was missing a few varsity players due to football and illness/injury. Hendrick (sick), Yager (knee), Cable, Craig, and Brocious (football) to name some. But Trimble did show some good things. The player you speak of is Larry Sullivan, he had real quick moves on the court also.

How about we discuss the 8th Region more and take the personal jabs, to the pm's.
