How did Wayne County look in their scrimmages?

Rock but I think the Cards might hang around longer than the Rock folk's would like for them to.

Wayne County is a better team than some are giving them credit for. If I was going to pick , I would say Rockcastle wins this game. Wayne has a good coach and some really good kids. Rock is favored to win this game.

I think the first half will stay close, after the halftime meetings though I cant see Rock coming out flat, shutout in the second half for The Rock.

It might be a little early but I would have to say Rock is one of my early picks for the 4a title.

 

I dont even see them as a favorite in their district.

Like I said its early; you never know.

Everyone must realize that when Wayne scrimmaged SWHS that Wayne had 4-6 varsity players out for various reasons. They are a better team than what they showed. I still predict Rockcastle to handle them but am not going out on the proverbial limb to predict a score. Too many varitables with Wayne. I will say if they don't do better than they did against us, then it will probably be a cake-walk for a very good Rock team...

I agree while they won by easily pulling away in the second half against a young SW team, I didn't think Rock was all that impressive in doing so. But it was week one and all teams get better and Rock will too. Just after the watching the first game I really don't see them as a state contender based on that game alone. SW was not a balanced team like they have been in the past years and really didn't put much pressure on them for any sustained drives, two of the SW TD's came on broken plays where White made great individual effort to take short passes to the house.

Jumperdad must not have watched the same game as others. Just ask the Rockets if it was easy to outdistance SW. I like the Rockets by 10 with a good hard hitting game.
