Did Miller graduate cause I thought he was a Jr last season when they played JC? With that kind of heart I expected him to have a huge season, that is if he hasnt already graduated.

:thumb: I really thought the he was a Jr last year, but obviously not. The Rock has always produced solid backs so Im sure others will step in and feel the void quite well.

If TT does not go down this is a closer game than it was. Now Rock still might have won that little running back was slippery as can be but TT was finding Adam White with no problem. They recieved play of the game on many news channels, thats still no victory but I think it would have been closer. Good Job Rock nice win maybe next time! Also good job young Warriors keep your heads up you all are going to turn some heads this year!

I forgot to add in my other post that when our boy's cramped up and went down on the field that I appreciate Southwestern for their sportsmanship conduct toward us sometimes that means alot but anyway great game I wish Southwestern the best in their regular season.

I noticed that the Rock played a lot of sophmores and juniors last night. The coaching staff is doing a great job getting these younger players ready for friday nights. On that note, they will get even better as the season goes on.

Congrats to the Rock for a first game win!!

Southwestern fought hard, they looked good. Their season should be a good one. Hope their QB is okay.

GO ROCKETS!!!!

But it also sounds like they must improve greatly on defense.

I felt they played a great game. They hit TT in the 2nd half and that was their goal, he was hard to get to in the 1st half, however, Rock gave SW the ball on the 8 yard line to give them 7 points and stopped them 6 times before a interference call gave SW a first down. Then the two passing tds, which were the same play came off a busted play and TT used his scrambling ability to avoid everyone until someone came open. He is good at that for sure. I definatley give SW credit for those but I am just saying that their defense was in the right places and made excellent plays, espcially when you reference SW's total yardage, because 2 of the TD were 70 yards each, that is more than 3/4 of their total offense.

Yet again, 3Wishes with a GREAT set of stats! I never thought of it that way. After watching the news last night (and during the game) I am very steadfast in belief that on the 70 yard pass he was on the line.

But I don't care the game is over, I just found it very funny that me and several of my friends from PCHS were debating over that last night. They were watching the news when they called me and said I was right.

I guess they didn't know that I am always right:D

I have watched many times and I will have to disagree with you his foot planted before he threw the ball then his momentum took him over after he released it.

Yeah, even on film that was too close to call much less making that call on the field. Those big plays that TT can make will allow defense to play on their heels more because Rock was all in their face but when a play last 7-8 seconds and the QB is scrambling around it is hard to cover the WR's that long.

... Winning is the goal, but the character you display in the process is truly golden. Our Kids are respectful to no limit. To show that on the field of battle is priceless...

That is what makes them boys men.

Great game. I want to say that the Warrior fans were GREAT! The referees were whistle-crazy but they were balanced. Rock just had the better day. Don't hang your head, Keemo and the rest of you BGP SW supporters should be proud.

They just don't come much better than the Warrior fans:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

RebelK I would like to be the first to say thank you for the kind words!

... Thank you very much RebelK. :D

I thought the young man that came in for T.T. did a very respectable job. He was a tough kid. The pass he completed down the middle for a long first down in the late 3rd or early 4th quarter was tough. He stood in and took a huge hit but made a great throw. I really thought SW was in control until Rock's line just wore em down. That was a good first game for both programs amd both of our teams that played later could have learned how to tackle someone watching you guys.

If I don't get a chance to make it to Metcalfe Co. this Friday I will be cheering on the Warriors at the reservation.
