Let me just start off by saying that SW has a very young team this year, they graduated somewhere around 20 or 21 seniors last year in which about 15 or 16 were starters. Everything can only go uphill from here, keep your heads up men and work harder everyday.

Yeah, I think both squads came into this game not really knowing what to expect because both of them lost so many starters. Rock only had 11 seniors but 8 of them started both way. They only have 2 seniors on the line and 1 of them had never played varsity before. Three 10th graders and a 9th grader is the first man in. Rock benefited from a lot of their depth at the skill positions last night when at least 9 men went down with cramps all within 2 minutes. That was a scary time because there were very few starters in the game in the 3rd quarter when there wasn't any scoring going on.

Both young teams, but regardless its usually always a good tight matchup between these two teams.

I really liked Rock's running attack. They seemed to understand the running game better than passing. Or maybe it was the youth and relative inexperience of their quarterback. The starting quarterbacks from both teams acquitted themselves very well, IMHO.

There was a couple of times we made Rocks qb look like Peyton Manning though; it will hopefully all be worked out by Friday night.

The defense needs a little adjusting, but what I was suprised by was the lack of blocking by the Offensive line after the first half, they did a decent job blocking in the first half and it was all down hill after that.

Yeah I am still trying to adjust to this new spread offense I had the veer beat in my head for 4 years now the spread there is just to many ways to get you qb drilled if the line does not pick up all of its assignments.

The Warriors have a very good strong young line. In reviewing tape I realize how good those Kids are. TT had alot of time and we opened the holes pretty good. Several of our offensive linemen go both ways and did become a little weary in the 4th quarter. Of course there were a few missed assignments but they will be fixed...

I think it is telecast on our cable channel #8 here in Somerset. As I do not have cable, I do not know for sure. They did alot of games around here. Charter Communications is the name, unless it has changed...:thumb:

:confused: Really last years squad appeared to have had one of the best from what I have heard, I dont know much about those fella's that you stated above but a couple of folks told me that they had a very big and talented offensive front last season, I saw a couple of their games in which they did very well... good luck on the rest of the season to the young front.
