7:30 and Yes. I'm assuming you will be coming from RT. 23. Take Rt. 23 all the way to 14th St in Ashland. Turn left off Rt. 23/Greenup Ave. Go one block to Winchester Ave. Turn right, and then take the next right across the 13th St. bridge. Take a right off the bridge onto 52. Take 52, go about 6 miles, and turn left at the 2nd traffic light. Take the 1st right and go about 1 mile. You will see the new high school, and football field up on the hill on the left.

No problem. The construction of the school is still on going, so parking will be at a premium. The school board is encouraging the locals to park at different sites and ride shuttle buses to the field. One of the sites is the parking lot of the Grandview Inn which a right turn away from the 1st traffic light off 52.

How come this game is being played on Saturday night?

 

I think the South Point people did this to maximize their gate and crowd.

 

With most local games being played on Friday night, they hope that with JC being a pretty good out of state team, it will encourage coaches and fans from other local schools to come out and support the in state Pointers. A friend of mine is South Point says its being played up as a border war. They are expecting an overflow crowd for this game. Should be a great atmosphere for a high school football game.

A great atmosphere, but no contest – JC can name the score.

I think that JC will have an easy time in this game. Should be over with by halftime. Should see alot of the JV in the second half. Good luck and everyone have a safe trip.

But I really dont think I'm gonna miss too much.

I went by JC's field today... the visitors side bleachers are almost done. I'd say they will be completed by next week's home opener.
