...easily the most stinky piece of human garbage on the planet...

I used to watch Maher often, but like Rosie and other left wing lunatic "comedians", he ceased to be entertaining once he let his hatred for those with whom he disagrees politically to become an obsession.

I don't get HBO so I've never seen his show. When I've seen him elsewhere he hasn't been very funny. Now Robin Williams is funny no matter what environment he's in.

But he certainly has the right to be wrong. If the GOP can have their media hacks, so can the Dems.

He bills himself as a comedian, not a media hack. At any rate, he's about as funny as cancer.

What about the comedian, Rush Limbaugh ? Media hack trying to be funny?

OR.....not so talented comedian?

This thread is about Bill Maher. Feel free to start a Rush Limbaugh thread, and I'll come over and whine on it...:D

I love Maher ... he sometimes goes much farther than I would, sometimes even too far, but his show is entertaining and his criticism hits the mark more often than not.

The ultra-liberal mark. It's the same partisan garbage you see in the media every day, with a lot of name-calling and vulgarity thrown in for good measure. And he throws in attacks on religion, and Catholics in particular. Low rent...

I'm a casual fan. I own one of his books - "Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? The Best of Politically Incorrect" that I picked up recently at Half-Price Books.

These days I watch Stewart and Colbert on Comedy Central; I don't subscribe to HBO. Although if I felt that someone was "garbage" I probably wouldn't be wasting my time watching.

I read somewhere where he recently said Democrats were as bad as Republicans as far as politicians go. So I tuned in to see if he would walk the walk. Predictably, it was the same old garbage he always spews...
