August 1, 200719 yr Who does everyone think has had the best QBs the last 10 years or back when Redmon and Couch were in college on? UK- Couch, Bonner, Lorenzen, Woodson UL- Redmon, Ragone, Lefors, Brohm Not all have done great in the pros by any means, although the jury is still out. But both teams have had a great group of QBs. I think it is fairly balanced and can see an argument from both sides.
August 1, 200719 yr U.K. = 1. Couch 2. Bonner 3. Woodson 4. Boyd 5. Lorenzen U.L. = Ragone, Redman and Brohm all were/are pretty good. (I am not sure which order that I would put them in)

August 2, 200719 yr Even in front of Bonner. This is an opinion thread amd I respect yours but I really don't think that Lorenzen was as close to as good as Bonner. All of that went down and imo was done in a pretty underhanded way by the master of dirty deals in Hal "B"umme. Again, jmo but Bonner was a far better QB than Lorenzen - he didn't get the chjance to prove it at U.K..

I heard he was the starting QB for the Euro-league champions a couple of years ago and recently has been trying to get into the NFL. Lefors seems to be getting no respect in this thread. He lacked size but his heart, head, and ability were right up there with the best.

August 2, 200719 yr In 2005, Ragone was named NFL Europe's Offensive MVP, leading the Berlin Thunder to World Bowl XIII. LeFors ranks as the 4th all time leading passer at the University of Louisville with 5,853 yards & first in pass completion percentage with 66%. In December 2006, LeFors was signed by the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL as an import player. He is currently the backup quarterback for the team's 2007 season. Bonner is now the general manager of the Lexington Horsemen.
