This singular quotation... this single sentence... from the Declaration of Independence speaks volumes. Every one of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence agreed - at least in principle - with its contents... placing at risk their lives, families, and worldly possessions. It would be foolish to suggest that any of these men signed this revolutionary document without first weighing the costs.

 

This sentence affirms a belief in absolute right and wrong, a belief that men were created and not an accident of evolution, a belief that racism has no basis, a belief that God exists, a belief that God grants certain universal and irrevocable rights to individuals, among which are the sanctity of life, unfettered freedom, and the ability to follow one's heart.

They can listen to your phone conversation if you are calling a suspected terrorist outside of the U.S. While I'd like to see Congressional oversight of the program or potentially a sunset provision, it is a bit of a stretch to say it is 1984.

He has allowed wire-tapping without a court order of american citizens. He has defied a summons from congress to present 2 members of the justice dept
