Those two did move for academics, just ask their Mom the next time you see her, but how many more have quit or left beside those two girls during the last couple of years?

Maybe they simply don't want to make the commitment required.

Could be some sad news from the Rebel front. Rumor has it Lacy Brassauex and family could be moving back to Louisianna where they are from. If this indeed happens makes the top rung of the 9th even more of a toss up. I guess everyone will hear if this comes to fruition it the next couple of weeks. I don't think it is 100% yet. If it does happen Boone is losing a quality person in Lacy I thought she would be the leader of that team this year. All the girls look up to her and not just because of her height.

Even without her, they still have the depth to win the region...

Disagree! Brasseaux was a dominate force. That puts the pressure on Behrens and Bradley and if they get into foul trouble, who is the depth? They are also losing a quality shooter that has not seen much action, IMO.

Boone doesn't have that dominating size difference now. W/Finley and Brasseaux in the game along w/Behrens they were huge compared to everyone else.

I think the 9th region will be real interesting to watch now!

Conner high school will be adding to there height with a 6'1 post player that is moving in to the region. She is a in coming junior and started as a sophomore. She also was named to her all region tourny team last year. From what I am being told she can flat play inside.

Why does it matter Oldguy? As I said before, Conner has been very successful over the last two years under Coach Warfield. And I just don't understand why you are still bringing this subject up.

Personally, I think that it seems like its never enough with the players/parents that decide to move. I mean Conner just had a great season - 20 wins, I don't think that has happened in awhile - and 33rd District Champs. They have some great talented young players too. So who knows? Coach Warfield has turned a less than .500 team into 33rd district champs and an above .500 team in two years. What more could you ask for?

How about asking for a Regional title. I agree that Conner has made great strides but until you win the region no one seems to notice.

Do I smell a AAU connection? Possibly with her AAU coach? Who does not coach at Conner, by the way.

A. Who is the girl?

B. Where is she from?

C. WHo is her AAU coach and what is the connection to CSHS?

3pt shooter I have to agree I believe the loss of Brasseaux will hurt not sure who the shooter is that you are talking about but (IMO )I wouldn't be supprised come Oct. if Boone wound up going from one of the biggest teams in the 9th to one of the smallest.

Sounds like you might have some inside information about some one else leaving the Rebels. I think the person he is taking about is that sharp shooting guard Sam Bowling who is questionable about returning for her senior year.

Let's not beat around the bush. Are you referring to Findley possibly giving up bball to concentrate solely on vball? If so, that puts Boone even w/the rest of the 9th w/inside players w/only having Katie Behrens left.

Cootyb-exactly right re: Bowling. She will not even be in school at Boone. I have been told her and her father have moved back to Ft Mitchell due to some friction at the current residency. Looks like Beechwood gets their outside shooter back.

Good luck to Ms. Bowling. Hope it all works out for her.

I'd have to say Ludlow is my favorite here. They lose Kassi Wofford but anytime you have someone as great as Aaron Stamm leader your program you have the ability to contend any year.
