Oscar...BC lost 4 players to graduation and 2 to transfer. Are you aware of any more? Please share!!

Who did Boone lose due to transfer???

Conner High School will be getting the transfer afterall it appears. Only one holdup is the girls parents are checking into transfer rules after school has started. The family will not move until after october 15th so how does all this fit with Conner high schools b-ball coach. Her Father will be there before on his new job. Still alot of questions but if they can get it worked out Conner stands to benefit from a 6'1 post player that is a good basketball player and very smart girl who listens to her coachs.

Yeah the new assistant at boone is Stephanie Allgeyer, apparently she was the Mid School coach at camp ernst going 21-0 i believe that undefeated team has 3 of the startes going Boone.... Boone has a extrmely talented Freshman class coming in... I know of Jackie Marshall, which was leading scorer on that team with 350 pts on the season, and annie Browning among several others who i can't remember, although... i don't think they are going to have any effect on the team this year

So, is this mystery player coming from somewhere in Ky?

Yes she is from Kentucky

Why won't you give her name?

^ Is her last name Salyers?

I am not at liberty to discuss who the player is when the move is final and all the ducks are lined up everyone will know who it is. There are still a few things left to be ironed out so the cat must stay in the bag.

My guess, not eligible!

Why would the player be ineligible if there is a bondfide change of residence.

I would ask the same question. 3PT?

ByLaw 4, sec 3: not word for word but refers to enrolled as a bona fide, full time student no later than 20 days after the semester starts.

Case study question: Case BL 4-8, if the student can prove they were prevented from enrolling by some type of circumstance, the 20 day rule could be waived.

Go to the KHSAA website and click on handbook, then ByLaw 4

Would not the fact they live hours away and their dad then got a job in the new district satisfy that requirement?
