Top 10 10th Region Players for '07/'08

Featured Replies

I am going to put Russ Middleton-MC at the 2 spot.

Chris Owens at the 3rd from St. Pat.

Setty is better than both of those 2. I'd put him behind Miller, then Owens. What does Scott have this season? Stenzel of Clark has the POTENTIAL to be right behind Miller as early as next season.

Stenzel will be no suprise....he started most of last year, but we do have some Freshman that could be some BIG suprises.

What does it say about our region when no one has yet to list 10 players? Is the region down or is it just too early?

The region is down and lost a lot of talent last year through graduation.

Mason County is the very heavy favorite to win the region. IMO: No one will come close to Mason next year in the 10th.

Jon Verst from Campbell County should be on this list.

I disagree. If your up in Setty, and don't leave when Miller or Middleton penetrate, he's not an effective player. He is a player who thrives in the system, but if he was the star player, he wouldn't do as much damage. Middleton can create his own shot, while IMO, Setty cannot...

So...Someone give us a good solid top 10.....haha...if thats not too much to ask..ha

Well I disagree, Trevor has really worked on his offensive game this offseason and really carried the team through the summer.. He was a product of the system last season when he wasnt needed to drive in that offense.. He is also learning to play with his height now too, hes about 6'7 now..

Too early...there seemed to be more "known" players last year. Last year there were a lot of senior dominated teams in the 10th while this year it seems like the underclassmen will have an opportunity to show their stuff.

I agree, too early to tell.

Hes not 6'7 i just talked to him the other day hes 6'5 or maybe 6'6 and yes he did carry the Royals in summer ball this year along with Middleton and King was much improved.I say Setty would be #2 behind miller also.If trevor could only add about 20-30 pounds he would be awesome.

I think that it is possible that Mason Co. has 3 out of the top 5 players in the 10th. Miller, Middleton, and Setty.:scared:

Montgomery County could not have picked a worse year to host the 10th region tournament. No impact players whatsoever outside of Miller and some of the worst teams I can ever remember the 10th region having. Outside of Mason, everyone is way down. On the bright side, the games that don't include Mason should be highly competitive close games in the tournament.

Well im a close friend of him and he is that tall, you might have been confused with Treg Setty because hes 6'4 or 6'5 and they could pass as twins.. Trevor is taller than Darius now and i am very close friends with the 2 of them and he definately needs to gain weight because hes not the biggest of the pack weight wise:lol:

You think Treg will get any PT this year as freshman.
