Yes it was. I wish I could have seen him play the way everybody talks about his all around game.

I am watching. A great tribute to the "Say Hey Kid". I had goose bumps. Also the interview with Griffey & Jeter was fantastic. Things like this is what makes the game of baseball so great.

I voted "part of the game" but I might watch all of it.

 

I have to say though, after the conversation between W. Mays and Jeter/Griffey at the start of the program, then the tribute to Willy "Say Hey Kid" Mays before the game that there is not a whole lot left. :thumb:

 

Griffey has got an RBI base hit - when Griff and Jeter go out of the game for me the only thing left will be Posada and B. Webb to possibly get in the game.

Also the interview with Griffey & Jeter was fantastic. Things like this is what makes the game of baseball so great.

:thumb: I also noticed the comment by Mays when he told the two of them that when he thought of "treating the game with respect" (I think that was the way he put it) that he thought of them. :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Griff is having and All-Star All-Star game. RBI and an outfield assist. Griff for MVP!
