Prayers go out to the Grande family and friends.

Reds pitching is going to have to "plunk" someone - too many inside pitches/HBP to not retaliate.

Brewers reliever Matt Wise took a taxi after the game Wednesday night to go to a local emergency room and visit Reds infielder Pedro Lopez. Wise hit Lopez on the side of his face with a pitch in the eighth inning of that game, fracturing his left cheekbone and causing blood to gush out of his mouth.

Lopez will not need surgery, but he was placed on the 15-day DL.

"I wanted to go see him and tell him I'm sorry," said Wise. "He doesn't speak much English, but he understood what I was saying. That was by no means intentional and I feel bad about it."

Very Classy move by Matt Wise, you could tell that one was not intentional.

Cubs fielders don't make and out. Hill strikes out the side.

Thoughts and prayers to the Grande family.

With that said..

WHEW, good to see the Cubs get out of that potential disaster.

I think that could be said about every inning with them. :D

True, True, but I will deal with just one at a time.

What a great catch by Freel, Cubs can't cash in on the double. Reds turn around and can't get their runner in.

That place looks pretty full tonight! I wonder how many Cub fans are there...

If the attendance is near 30 thousand, I'm going to guess about 20 thousand are Cubs fans.

BP has been doing it all year, but a very nice big time 2 out RBI hit to tie the game. Cubs are lucky this thing is 1-1 through 3.
