August 25, 200719 yr Sounds better Mr. Man in Black.:thumb: :thumb: So, I'm still waiting on your numbers.
August 25, 200719 yr Keppinger with 4 HR's and 22 RBI's in 128 AB's. What would that project to over a full season? Lots of dinks and dunks without much pop.
August 25, 200719 yr Lots of dinks and dunks without much pop. I'm not running away from that comment -- I don't think he'd hit 15 homers in a full season, and in GABP, that is Punch-and-Judy. :bunny:

August 25, 200719 yr 4 TBs tonight = .585 SLG% Nice sample size. Tuffy Rhodes once had 12 bases in 4 AB's, a 3.000% slugging. Was he more powerful than Ruth, Aaron, and Bonds? Don't paint me anti-Keppy, I love the guy. I just don't think people should get unrealistic expectations that this 27 year old won't be able to live up to next year. He's is on fire right now and has probably made the off-center'd Ryan Freel expendable. Keppy keeps hitting over .300 and gets on base over .350, I don't care how many HR's he tallies.

I'll give you a chance to reconsider your post, taking into account my math abilities, so that you can take into account simple math and then re-post.
August 25, 200719 yr 3 homers and a K is 12 bases in 4 AB's, right? 3 bases per AB is a slugging of 3.000%, right? If my memory is wrong than I apologize.

Dude, if I was just talking about tonight, Kepp's SLG would be 1.333. YTD is now .585. If "pop" only takes into account HRs, then he has no pop. IF we take into account his ability to accumulate TBs, he's got plenty of pop.

Again, I'm all for Keppy -- I don't care how much pop he has or doesn't have. Keep hitting kid.
August 25, 200719 yr Unlike the past 2 times when Narron and whatshisname took over and had a late season run, I really like this current interim manager. Something about his personality and his "I'm the manager - you're the player" attitude makes me hope they sign him up.
