Dunn, Griffey, and Encarnacion for A-Rod?

Recommended Posts

Upside....Offense, Defense and attendance.

Downside....Salary.

While A-Rod would be an outstanding acquisition, help both offensively and defensively, you've created 2 vacant spots in the OF.

Whom would fill those roles and production.

I think a straight up Milton for Santana is a VERY fair trade for both teams. We all know deep down Ross is a Hall of Famer, it's just going to take time.

The sad thing is, as soon as Milton gets back from surgery and finds a new team he's going to have an all-star season. I would bet every penny I have on it. But if he stayed with the Reds he would be twice as bad.

I don't know about All Star, but I agree, I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him come back and win 10-15 games with someone.

Wasn't Milton an all star in Minnesote a few years ago?

Yeah of course I made it up myself. Just wishful thinking. I would say Hamilton, Freel, Hopper in the outfield, unless you want Votto to play there.
I don't remember who said it first.

But any team that has Ryan Freel as an everyday player has big time issues.

Throw Hopper in with him and we might as well move the team to Louisville....
