colfan80
Would the Yankees do it? Would the Reds do it? Would it even matter?
98NCCalum
You made this one up yourself didn't you? I'll humor you though....this trade is not feasible nor does it make sense for either side.
STRIKE3
Upside....Offense, Defense and attendance. Downside....Salary. While A-Rod would be an outstanding acquisition, help both offensively and defensively, you've created 2 vacant spots in the OF. Whom would fill those roles and production. Habib
While we're at it, let's trade David Ross and Eric Milton for Johan Santana and Joe Mauer.
colfan80
Yeah of course I made it up myself. Just wishful thinking. I would say Hamilton, Freel, Hopper in the outfield, unless you want Votto to play there.

We all know deep down Ross is a Hall of Famer, it's just going to take time.

I would bet every penny I have on it. But if he stayed with the Reds he would be twice as bad.

I don't know about All Star, but I agree, I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him come back and win 10-15 games with someone.

HOMELESS CAMEL
Wasn't Milton an all star in Minnesote a few years ago? Wow, you are right, I had no IDEA. With Minnesota, Milton had a record of 57-51, with 715 strikeouts and a 4.76 earned run average, and was selected to the 2001 AL All-Star team. Many thanks to the fine people at Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Milton

I would say Hamilton, Freel, Hopper in the outfield, unless you want Votto to play there.I don't remember who said it first. But any team that has Ryan Freel as an everyday player has big time issues. Throw Hopper in with him and we might as well move the team to Louisville....
