June 26, 200719 yr ^^I will be at that game (Thurs. Nov. 8th I believe) and rooting for Louisville, BUT they have almost no chance of coming out of Morgantown with a win. They were, very, very close with a lesser team two years ago...and I feel they have improved more than the 'Neers have....there's a long way to go until then.
June 26, 200719 yr Kentucky's schedule in football is brutal, THIS SEASON...Always is in basketball.....this season is more of an anomoly than norm. Yeah.. playing UT, UF, Georgia every year, and Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas every other year rarely makes for a tough schedule. Are you kidding?

Just curious, what makes you say that Louisvilleis more improved to this point? They both have had a great off season and are much improved. Personaly I like both teams but I'm around WVU camp quiet a bit and this is going to be by far the best team they have had. They made some great additions as well as Louisville and will both bring seasoned teams to the table. The thing at Louisville disadvantage will be Morgantown on a week night. It is a great atmosphere any time but it goes up to a amazing atmosphere on a weeknight. Undefeated they are on week nights.

Throw in a few teams from the West and it's brutal.... EVERY YEAR. But yea, this year is more of an anomoly than norm :laugh: :laugh:

Louisville's defense has improved steadily...WVU not so much...that unothodox defense does not set up well for Louisville's offense. Don't get me wrong, I like the Mountaineers, I just think it is a matchup issue.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Mountaineers, I just think it is a matchup issue. Yeah they have matchup issues, but who knows when you go into a different season. They have made some improvements on the defense, but the game will still be offensive shootout which comes down to thigns like turnovers. One kid WVU has I like is the one from Florida coming in, I'm not trying to dish UL or anything, just I know quiet a bit more about what goes on in Morgantown (sadly enough) than UK, UL or anywere.
June 28, 200719 yr If there are two undefeated teams from the SEC, Big 11, or Pac 10....AND U of L then Louisville would be out....if not, IFF Louisville is unblemished..they are in...this past season indicates that. I agree. I just am not sure that with the SEC this year there is a team that could go unbeaten, much less 2. If UL is undefeated, I think they are in. UL fans need to cheer for the Cats (as hard as it may be) to keep their SOS even higher so that if there are a few unbeatens in the mix, they have a shot. I hope the Cards win ever game, .... except 1. And if they win that one, I will have to cheer for them the rest of the way.

State Nov. 10 at Vanderbilt Nov. 17 at Georgia Nov. 24 Tennessee I think UK can finish 2nd in the east behind the defending champs as much as i hate to say it, this could be the year they beat Tennessee. They will beat Louisville this year.
