All have said that this is not right...and that Barnhart had targeted Gillispie for a while and much of it was because of his personal connection that Barnhart had with a former UK coach whose father was associated with Texas A&M. As for Barnes I talked to a few major national people that told me it was his job and he took it for a small period of time. These are national people that aren't often wrong. We both were early in pointing out the Billy G tie to Mitch, and I have said since the day Tubby left that Billy G was the right guy. You are forced to spin on how firm you were on Billy D to UK.
