Chill out fellas... This is a 15 year old boy.

Have you ever seen a linebacker hit a receiver across the middle with a clean, but violent hit. Do you take his knees out the next play because he stood over the receiver after the hit and taunted him???

Have you ever seen one of the other POY candidates get a double with bases loaded in a close game, and then clap over his head once he gets to second celebrating a clutch hit. We don't throw at his ear-hole.

Have you ever seen one of the Top volleyball players serve an ace or get a kill and the players celebrate a great play?? We don't wish lightning would strike her...

What Luke did is show passion for the game. He showed what you see everyday in other sports.

Interesting this remark about it being "classless" came from what I believe is a fan of the team he hit it off of. If there is anything classless, it is making an insinuation that flipping a bat after hitting a home run is worse than intentionally trying in injure a player by throwing at his head. Throwing at him is the only classless thing about your post.... Think about it....

Simply put... Act like you have been there before. If this action is acceptable on the diamond, then let's see some "Icky shuffles" on Friday night... Where is Icky anyway... get the hint!?

Stay focused young man!!!!

3pt I know you won't find a nicer young man who is as polite and as well mannered as Luke is. His family will see to it that he stays level headed, and yes he is highly competitive, but in a good way, he hates to lose, and gets excited when he plays. To say you wouldn't give a 15 year old boy a vote because of the way he flipped his bat after hitting a HR in the District Championship of at the moment a close game, well..... You know I didn't even see the flip, and you know where I was sitting at.

If you want to get on somebody for his actions in that game, I think I wouldn't be looking at a 15 year old kid, but someone quite a bit older with a beard wearing a white uniform. I would, if I were a parent be a bit more upset with him and his actions toward some of his own players.....Just my opionion....

If flipping his bat after a bomb is the worse thing you can come up with...well...

This is now a 15 yd penalty, unsportsman like! I don't think baseball has any of these type rules.

No one said anything about hurting another player.

Your backpedaling is falling on deaf ears.... :sssh:

Just a side note, I have no allegiance with CCH. I am simply a High School baseball fan.

This thread is done.
