Incognito Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Sadly, today around 5:00 on the Ohio River near Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington, two sophomore girls were involved in a jet ski accident. One girl did not survive and the second is in critical condition. Many kids are currently meeting at the school with administrators. Please keep the families as well as the community in your prayers. May God sweep you in his arms and give comfort and peace to the families and the community of Raceland. Amen.
Incognito Posted May 21, 2007 Author Posted May 21, 2007 Update: the girl reported to be in critical condition is ok and has been released from the hospital. She is at the school with the rest of the classmates. Thank you for your prayers.
oldrambler Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Prayers go out from the oldrambler and family. Very sad day in Ramland  . Kids are still at the school. May God bless the family and friends of this young lady that has passed way too early in life. I also understand that there will be grief counselers at the school week for all of the students. May God look down on the familes and friends, the Raceland - Worthington communities, school sytstem administrators, teachers and counselers during this terrible time. May he bring you the peace that only he can and trust in him to carry you through this time. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
LRCW Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I just saw this on the news. My heart breaks for this young girl's family and friends. She was just 15 years old.  I will be praying for the family, and all her friends. I know how small Raceland is, and how tight knit that community is. May God wraps His arms of love around all you, and comfort all of you during this time.
oldrambler Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 It is times like this that put everything into perspective and the focus on the things that are really important in life.
BoondockSaint Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 This is always terrible to hear, my thoughts will be with the family and friends.

gold sunrise Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Really hate to hear this news. Prayers and angels are being sent up from Clark Co.
The Red Rambler Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 They said on the news this morning alcohol may have played a factor. Not that this is not devastating enough, but if that is true, what a shame. Prayers go out to the LeMaster family.
Incognito Posted May 21, 2007 Author Posted May 21, 2007 I received a pm that some LCA families and athletes had met last night to pray for the Raceland family and community. What an awesome display of respect. Rivals on the field and brothers and sisters off. Thank you and God bless you LCA!
