I received a pm that some LCA families and athletes had met last night to pray for the Raceland family and community. What an awesome display of respect. Rivals on the field and brothers and sisters off. Thank you and God bless you LCA!

Thank you LCA such a fine group of people. I am sure this young lady was at both of those games last year. We apprciate as a close Raceland family prayers and well wishes. The kids are coming together in every aspect of our school system to honor this child and her family. At one point she cheered on our teams in uniform. She then went to the sidelines and cheered. Now she will be cheering for the Rams in heaven. GOD BLESS this angel.

Does anyone know what exactly happened? The news is still very unclear on what happened (shocker). Was there alcohol involved or was that bad reporting on WSAZ's part?

All I heard WSAZ say was the officials had not determined if alcohol was involved. I have not seen the paper yet to read their article on it. WSAZ's mention of it was the only mention of alcohol that I have heard in this. The Daily Independents web site made no mention of alcohol, only that the Coast Guard report would not be completed untill today (Monday).

I was at the school this afternoon. News is that the mother's boyfriend was driving the boat when the accident occured and that a cooler was confiscated from the boat. I also heard that the funeral will be held at the cultural arts center on the raceland campus. do not know time or dates.

 

Hebrews 13:5 says, "The Lord will never leave you or forsake you". May the Lemaster family keep this scripture in their hearts.

I am not sure on the times but I have heard this afternoon that the visitation and funeral will be held at the Raceland High School arts center (gym). Raceland I believe will be dismissing school at 12:30 on Wednesday.

 

Someone please correct me if I am wrong on this info.

 

Again, May God be with the Lemaster family and friends and the Raceland Family through this tragic loss.
