98NCCalum Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 "I just had a gut feeling Nebraska was the best place for me and would provide a chance to win a national championship," Gabbert told the Lincoln Journal Star. WOW! Good luck to him.
BigBlueFreak Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 :dancingpa :dancingpa Things are starting to come together!! This is the best news I've heard in weeks!
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I believe they have USC in Lincoln this year, should be a darn good game.
NHS BIG DADDY Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 http://www.columbiatribune.com/2007/May/20070516Spor008.asp For HSSRB and NHS. Always good to steal the best talent in Missouri away from Mizzou, its like a punch in the gut to a big 12 north rival. Callahan has an awesome recruiting class so far. They have 4 top 100 players in the country already, 3 OL and now a QB. Possibly the best OL class for 08 so far.:thumb:

NHS BIG DADDY Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 That's how you win national titles! There is another OL also that they have who is in the top 100 on scout but not rivals. He'll be a 4 star guy as well. Its shaping up to be one heck of a recruiting class.

Its shaping up to be one heck of a recruiting class. He's doing a very good job with everything, they might be more of a contender next year than people give them credit for, 2 more years and I would be disappointed if were not in a BCS bowl.:fight: :fight:

I can accept loses to Texas an USC but anything else would be a let down. I think they can matchup with Texas and get them once this year. Preferablly in the Big XII Championship game if they matchup there.
oldrambler Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I am just glad that USC did NOT get him:banana: . Congrats to Nebraska!
Alabama Larry Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 We were on his list, but right now there wasn't a spot for him. Good luck to him.
oldrambler Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 That's how you win national titles! :thumb: :thumb: No one goes anywhere without the "big uglie's" up front blocking for them.
oldrambler Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I am still having trouble imagining Nebraska not running the option :scared: . I love that style of football. Woody Haye's (3yds. and a cloud of dust), Bear Bryant's wishbone, Barry Switzer, Tom Osborne, Vince Dooley, Bo Schembechler amoung others................That Is Football, run it down their throat, play super tough defense and when you throw then throw the thing deep. :ylsuper: :ylsuper: (you might say I am Old School )
NHS BIG DADDY Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 No more option but they still pound the rock. That was a big emphasis last year.
