May 3, 200719 yr Who is the biggest celebrity (anybody famous) that you met? I must be living in a cave, because I would have to say that other than a few Bengals, I have not met anybody really famous.
May 3, 200719 yr I have been fortunate enough to go to a couple horror movie conventions. So I got a chance to meet the director and tall man from Phantasm. Doug Bradley and Ashley Laurence from Hellraiser. Sid Haig from House of 1000 Corpses. Evil Dead cast, etc, etc. Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger while working on The Patriot. That's all I can think of for now. Probably the best celebrity I have ever met was David Hess, star of the Last House on the Left. A really, really nice guy.

My g/f at the time thought the same thing, I had to tell her that MOST of the "fans" were very NORMAL. lol Yes, there were a few people who take the movies too seriously, but unlike the Star Trek Conventions, no one dressed up and proceeded to talk in a made up/different language. : )

May 3, 200719 yr I think I met Johnny Bench at some kids function back when I was 7 or 8. They invited a bunch of us on the field at Riverfront Stadium. He just went down the line and shook our hands. I don't remember much from it. Now that I think about it, I think I also met Steve Grogan while living in Scotland in 1985 or 86.
May 3, 200719 yr I've met a bunch of celebrity-types. The only one I was truly in awe of was Muhammad Ali.
