I love the Suns and think they are best team in history thats why they will win this year.

It's ok we all make mistakes.

HT, you do realize how bad this team plays without Nash don't you? They're great, but they also feed off of him... He's a great PG and always has been... And now he's in his prime. Do I think he deserved both those MVPs? The first one, absolutely... The second one... Not so much... But if he wins it this year, he's very deserving.

 

I think he deserved the 2nd one more so than the first. That was Shaq's first year in Miami when they were a D-Wade injury from making the finals. Shaq was more deserving than Nash!!!

1. Oscar Robertson - Triple doubles night in and night out.

2. Magic Johnson - The biggest match up problem at the point guard spot ever.

3. John Stockton - Number one in steals and assists all time, what more do you want from a point guard?

4. Bob Cousy - Ran the point for the greatest dynasty in NBA history.

5. Steve Nash - Each year in Phoniex he has gotten better, very close to averaging 20 points and 10 assists this year as well. One of the all time great free throw shooters as well.

6. Isiah Thomas - Could score and pass and tough too.

7. Jason Kidd - Great passer and rebounder but a liabilty with his shooting.

8. Tim Hardaway - Last point guard to average 20 points and 10 assists.

9. Earl "The Pearl" Monroe - Great guard on those awesome Knicks teams.

10. Maurice Cheeks - Played on the championship Trailblazer team and those great early 80's Sixer teams too.

No. This is Shaq's first year in Miami! He still averaged over 25 per game and helped turn this team completely around! Shaq was runner up to Nash for the MVP but I do agree that Kobe has gotten the short end of the stick a couple times!!!

Nash over Isiah? I may agree with you if Nash ever does win a title. And out of all the discussion, all of us have left out the great Dennis Johnson! He was Larry Bird's PG and was overshadowed by the other superstars on those Celtics teams.

Nope. They have a GREAT team. A lot of PG's would flourish in that system.
