April 30, 200719 yr Golden State won't win the west...they won't make it through the Spurs. The Spurs actually play defense... Dallas's D is up there with the Spurs since Avery Johnson took over. Golden State is just wearing them out with their explosive fast pace. And the Spurs have to get through Denver and Phoenix first.
April 30, 200719 yr It and the Suns/Lakers series has been very entertaining. Still look for the Pistons to win it all in 5-6 games no matter who they play against.
April 30, 200719 yr There's a lot of people on here that don't like the NBA for whatever reason, players are selfish, they don't play D, its boring, etc. But if you haven't been watching the GS/DAL series then I suggest that you do because this series has been more entertaining to me then any game in College this past year. And I am a huge college fan and I only watch the NBA regular season occasionaly so thats saying a lot.

And the Spurs have to get through Denver and Phoenix first. Dallas is shooting too many jumpers early in ball games, too comfortable with the 3. They have a huge size advantage and they aren't going down there, neither are they crashing the offensive glass.
April 30, 200719 yr ^ Dirk plays to much like a little girl. I've seen Dirk play in person and I have to agree with you. He is 7' but never wants to take it to the rim. IMO he is a one dimensional perimeter player and won't be great until he learns to start driving more often. As far as the Warriors go, Barn Davis has this team playing great. Their uptempo style is killing the Mavs.
April 30, 200719 yr My only guess is they looked at the game film from last years finals... and saw that Dallas is not good at defending while any PG is attacking the basket.

And the Spurs have to get through Denver and Phoenix first. Dallas does not play nearly as good of defense as the Spurs...and this is one of the Spurs worst years defensive wise.
