Does anyone think that the Patriots may become the Yankees of football? Stockpiling talent in search of another title that will not come?

Just food for thought. The two teams are in the same part of the country

I thought the same thing. The Patriots organization is a smart one though. That is why they've had the recent success they've had. They got rid of Branch and Givens last year and no one thought they'd be anything they were. Bellichick (sp) is just a great coach and knows how to work with the talent he has.

Have you seen what they did in the off season.

Stallworth and Moss is going to be ridiculous.

That comment will cause a fight up North.

Boston is in New England. New York is Mid-Atlantic.

The Salary cap prevents that from happening in to NFL. Well I should say it helps to prevent it.

But what's has Moss done these last couple season to make you guys think he's still that good? Don't get me wrong Moss was one of the most dominant WR in the league. but don't you think this is kind of like the NBA putting some old vets on one team for one good run at the ship.

Moss has a history of taking plays off when he feels like it. He even admits it. He still had what it takes he just doesn't care because Oakland is terrible.

I agree, but the fact that they picked up Moss, who is known as somewhat of a team cancer when things arent going so well, shows a bit of desperation on the part of the Patriots. If it works out things can be great for them, but right now i think the key part to that is if. It could get ugly. They are taking a bit of a gamble.

Which is exactly why I can't stand the guy as well as why I think he still has it as a player.

He thinks he is bigger than the game. I won't be very happy to see him get a ring.

They should go ahead and sent the superbowl trophy on the same flight with Moss to NE. If a team is ever going to go undefeated again, not saying that they will but, this roster looks like the one I'd put my money on to do it. Unless there is an injury this team is going to be extremely tough to beat.

Moss character was only affected when he was losing. New England will win atleast 10 games. Moss spoke to Bellichick and knows what is expected of him now that he is a Patriot. Anyone who thinks Bellichick or the Patriots organization will put up with Moss's troubles of before are crazy.

As long as Moss is winning he's happy. New England will win...We'll see the old Moss. Also Moss has NEVER had a good QB throwing to him since he's been in the NFL. Brady will bring out the best in Moss.

This was one trade that I NEVER saw coming. Great pick-up by the Patriots.

You didn't see it coming? Where were you the last 2 weeks ? lol

It's great how a guy who not once acted like a professional last season gets rewarded like this...

So, after this season. What does everyone think?
