April 26, 200719 yr Cincinnati is a major fairweather town. When things are going good, fans show up. That is fairly evident for both pro and college. Football is big, as it is across the state. High school football in Cincy is solidly supported. College football, not so much, but maybe Brian Kelly can change some things. The Bengals with a modicum of success has really caught hold. It may be a baseball town based on tradition, but ever since the year they lost the one game playoff to the Mets and changed the direction of the franchise by going after Junior, they have not had much success.

April 26, 200719 yr I think a lot has to do with the Bungles turning back into the Bengals, and a majority of the Cincinatti people being working class and having to work during day games, or being too busy and have other things to do during the summer than to check out the Red Legs. Although its true you'll have some clueless fans, Cinci will always still have those die-hards in it for the long haul. :thumb:

April 26, 200719 yr Since we have the owners of two MLB teams living here, I'd have to say we are a strong baseball town.
