Word I'm hearing is that Louisville is offering Matt Walls the opportunity to walk on this coming year, with a scholarship guaranteed for the next 3 years.

Anybody else caught wind of this? Thoughts? Can he pass this up?

Wow. With Knowles and now Wall, it seems like Pitino is trying to prevent the Chris Lofton situation... Is he going to offer Pettigrew too???:laugh:

Wow...Pitino has Knowles already and just added Delk, who'll both definately be on scholarship...Now committing another to Walls after this year...I'm not so sure RP is making too great a decisions, these days.. Not that these 3 can't play, but, I would think there are better quality players he could get...Surely, he's not pulling a "Tubby".

I never thought RP would get out worked but since he started wearing red he does not seem to be as active... not like he was as a "blue" collar worker.

I heard this today as well...I think this is the type of deal that Matt has been waiting on!

No way there's a "guaranteed" scholarship waiting after this year IMO...

Delk doesn't drop it because as he's added Huffman is dropped.

I can't see him getting a scholarship this year or next to go to U of L. He was a good player but IMO not good enough to be on scholly at U of L.

In 08, Louisville will have 3 rides to give out straight up. 2 are already given out to C Jeff Withey and SG Melquan Bolding. But there are going to be at least two guys go early to the pros (this is written in stone,) maybe 3. The guys that are getting looks for those other 3-4 spots are:
