BoondockSaint Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Michael Bush is up and running, his broken right leg nearly fully healed just in time for the NFL Draft. The former Louisville running back this week took part in his first full workout since he was hurt in September, and also received a thumbs-up prognosis from James Andrews, an Alabama-based orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports injuries. "I reviewed an X-ray today and it looks like it is 99 percent healed," Andrews wrote in a letter dated Wednesday and obtained by the Associated Press. "I would estimate that Michael Bush will pick up in the NFL where he left off in college, and should be a top-ranked running back taken in the 2007 NFL Draft." http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10135770
TheDeuce Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Good for Michael...Still say he should have stayed...
strongopenyon Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Honestly, how much does Michael Bush weigh right now?
TWOONE Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Good for Michael...Still say he should have stayed... Of course you do...
fieldhousekrayzie21 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Shouldn't this be a pro sports topic since he is no longer in school?
pallex32 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 This is great to hear. Any team that picks him up is getting a steal. Staying? What if he had blown his knee out or something worse and couldnt play any longer? He has made the right decision by goin on into the NFL.
sportsfan41 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I love to hear ole Bush is getting back to himself. Really hated seeing his season end right at it's beginning last year. As a UK fan, and someone that "appreciates Louisville" that was very much an injury that ticked me off.
02Ram54 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Of course you do...I'm sure many UK fans are glad to see that the guy that torched them for about 957 yards and 30 TDs in one half last season is off to the pros, but Bush's draft status would have benefitted from another year. He was a very solid first round guy befor ethe injury, now most talk is of him being a second day selection.

oldrambler Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Glad to hear that Bush is doing well, best of luck to him in the draft and beyond. :thumb: I also agree with Deuce in that imo he should had stayed another year.
spindoc Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I'd like the Steelers to get him perhaps around rd.3 of he's still on the board.
