I don't really think a project CB is our best way to go with the first pick in this draft.

How many years since he played it? I think we need to draft someone that can come in and start helping right away. If we went that way I don't see that happening.

He was there his first year at OSU. With his speed I don't think it would take long to get him ready...

I hope Cincy takes a WR first round so I can start my fantasy RB against them, which did well for me last year.

Outside of CJ, TJ, and Chatman, they're unproven. Thus, you wouldn't be able to get much in return IMO.

It wouldn't take him long at all really. Ginn Jr. is just one of those exceptional athletes who only comes around once in a while. He basically played everywhere in his first season at THE Ohio State University, but later Tressel found his playmaking abilities and athletic ability better suited for the Bucks at Wide-Out. (he has enough depth at CB to do this) Thus, finding ways to get the ball in his hands. But like I said, he was an ultimate Utility type player in his first year in Columbus, and with his athleticism, theres not too many places on an NFL field outside the box that TGjr could not make adjustments too.

 

With his hype over the past few seasons, and with his upside, I cannot believe Teddy is expected to fall as low as he is. The guy is nothing but potential, and if someone can him with a 15+ pick, then they are getting a steal.

 

 

We all see how a Devin Hester helped the Chicago Bears, and he does not even get the starting nod on D for the Bears. Ginn would not only start and play a primary position, but have virtually the same effect in the Special Teams game as well.

ok well I was supposed to stay away from this thread..... but... if he thinks wants to play CB and the Bengals put him through some workouts doing some CB things and think he will be able to contribute as a CB in the first year or two and he is there at 18 I would think about taking him. Can you see Tab and Ginn lining up for kickoffs? it could be scary. I think he can have the impact that Hester had on special teams. He seems like an athlete that only comes around every so often and so I think they would have to really think hard about it should he fall...

Simple question. Does your draft stock not go down anymore when you don't finish the national championship game due to an ankle injury. I think that displays toughness and team dedication issues. JMO.

 

NO WAY! If he was physically capable of playing in that game he would have been there. It has nothing to do with toughness or heart or will or anything like that. it has to do with the fact that he was physically not able to perform. Team dedication? I guarantee that his team did not want him out there trying to play on one leg. Have you ever been in that situation? I have. It sucks watching from the sideline and everything about you says go back in, but there comes a point where you recognize that you would be doing your team more harm than good... he could not have helped OSU anymore in that game. He was severely injured....
