April 13, 200719 yr Last I had heard was that CCH's Will Geisen was highly interested in Centre. Went down for a visit recently.
April 13, 200719 yr Paul Downs from Bardstown is an absolute gem of a football player who will also be a track star at Centre. Dynamite young man from an outstanding family with an extremely bright future ahead. Congrats, Paul! Also saw Ben Anderson play from KCD. The Bearcats weren't particularly good as an overall team, but Anderson sticks out in my mind as a very talented (and tall) receiver who was constantly getting open in the Bardstown secondary, had soft hands, ran very good routes, and was tough. I think he has the potential to excel at the DIII level, too.

April 13, 200719 yr Last I had heard was that CCH's Will Geisen was highly interested in Centre. I hadn't heard about Geisen's interest in Centre but it would be a good fit for him. All I have heard is that he's interested in two little schools named Vanderbilt and Notre Dame. I sure hope he can manage to find a good education between these 3 schools...

That is correct, but the actual deadline is in May. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear. A incoming freshman class usually consists of 20-30 students athletes.
