I think Gillispie has better talent at finding talent...

Yeah, sorry if I'm just scarred by the whole experience...

Glad to see Billy Clyde is working hard. Keep it up!

This is exciting that we got an early commitment. Obviously it will be very interesting to see how high a player he is ranked after the summer ball circuit.

This makes me think "Adam Williams".

Im pretty close to were Adam was and I dont know about these guys but Adam wasn't that good when Tubby signed him, that always did confuse me.

I love what I've read about this kid thus far....It's like Coach G.'s already getting Jai's replacement on board.:sssh:

Interesting tidbit.....When filling out his Derby Classic player form, DeAndre Jordan left the college choice section blank.....

No inside sources, just based on personal research, I'm beginning to think Lucas, Pettigrew, and Jordan round out UK's 07' class.

I found out that Vilarino will be a 4 star player on Rivals new 2009 rankings when they come out. 2 comparisons that Ive heard (I realize both maybe stretch right now) are Mike Conley and Acie Law.

:thumb: and when Tubby did do this and talk to kids for the future they still blasted him for it.

The difference ---- It wasnt with a kid who was top 15 in the nation in his class.;)

The main reason he did this was to show other recruits from Texas and the country that a blue chipper was signing to come to UK early. IMO

According to a published report Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie has picked up a verbal commitment from a sophomore standout in Texas.

Although there are no sources cited or direct quotes, the report states that McKinney High School point guard GJ Vilarino has become the first player to commit to Gillispie.

Vilarino (6-0, 150) averaged 20.5 points and 4.5 assists per game as a sophomore at McKinney. He was recently named to the adidas Nation team honoring 15 of the top players in the Class of 2009.

Vilarino

:thumb: Thanks for the info. Sounds like a solid player and a good find for Coach G.

Good job Billy G, good job!!

I'm just excited to see something in writing, but things are looking optimistic to say the least.
