Update on signed C Mike Williams.

 

This Cat runs the floor very, very well. His posts moves are good, and his hook shot is very smooth. Hustles and could crawl and beat Morris down the floor.

WLAP just reported that Gillispie has contacted three high school coaches, also made contact with Pettigrew and Lucas. He said that he and Lucas had a really good conversation and that next week he would be talking to C Anthony McClain.

He is the 6th rated center, and 51st rated player in the Top 150.

Scout shows no interest in Kentucky, but most of that was due to no contact by Tubby Smith. If Billy is the recruiter they say he is and he ends up offering McClain, we could have a shot at him.

Lucas seems like a lock. Patterson, in my opinion, is a 51-49 favorite for Kentucky. Why? Well, if he was set on playing for Billy Donovan and Florida, he would have already signed. I think if he likes Gillispie, he'll be a Wildcat.

With all the news I keep hearing about his current recruiting at Kentucky, you know that Billy is very excited and loving this job. There will not be a soul in America that will outwork him.
