April 6, 200719 yr They're probably meeting now. I say the biggest detractors are gonna be the Pelphrey/Ford supporters. Honestly though, outside of Billy D, Billy G seems to have the fewest people who DON'T want him. I think he'll do just fine. I agree.....He's a little bit crazy and wacko, which is just what this fanbase needs....I give Mitch Barnhart an A+ on this one.
April 6, 200719 yr Its Official!!!! Its Billy Gilispie. There will be a pep rally at 12:15 and a press conference at 12:45 at the new Joe Craft Center. This is a very exciting day for Kentucky basketball! We may have been able to get a coach with a better resume, but we could have definitly done a lot worse than Gilispie!

But on topic, I think this is the best possible alternative for the kitty cats! Sauerkraut - is a must with Brats. Great hire by Barnhart, IMO. Hopefully the 5 star seven footer backs out of his offer to A&M now and comes UK's way. That would be ideal especially if Patterson decides to go else where.
