Track the Braves

Featured Replies

The Braves have had some chances thus far tonight, but since plating that last run they've been squandering them. Of particular note was that strike 'em out/throw 'em out play in the seventh.

So it comes down to Escobar. Yeah, this game is over.

Well, maybe not. Draws the walk.

I predict Willie Harris tries to steal first.

could get interesting here.

Mmmmm. Thought it was a little inside, but goooood pitch.

YEAH!

I tell you what, that sequence was a highlight and a half. Escobar walks and goes to first. Before the next pitch, Escobar catches everyone napping and steals second with no throw. Willie Harris hits a 2 out, 3-2 pitch that flares over J.D. Drew's head and bang, tie ball game.

don't try to steal willie!!!!

don't try to steal willie!!!!

I'm telling you, it wouldn't surprise me if one day he tried to steal first. Or home........ from first.

i think he was trying to "surprise" them

I don't know who it is, the managers or Willie, but someone needs to realize he does not have to attempt a steal every single time. Especially since he's set that precedent recently and therefore they are watching him. And to attempt to steal while the pitcher still has the ball, right after Escobar burned them that way.... suicide. He got close, but still.
