August 7, 200719 yr Author Big series for the Braves tonight. They need a sweep in the worst way. ATL 4-2 vs Mets season series. Probables for the series: Tuesday Aug 7th. 7:10pm EST ATL- Buddy Carlyle (6-3, 4.20) NYM- Oliver Perez (10-7, 3.00) Wednesday Aug 8th. 7:10pm EST ATL- John Smoltz (10-6, 3.04) NYM- Brian Lawrence (1-0, 5.40) Thursday Aug 9th. 12:10pm EST ATL- Tim Hudson (12-5, 2.95) NYM- Orlando Hernandez (7-4, 3.00) Key game of the series is tonight. If the Braves can win tonight then they have a real shot of sweeping the series with Smoltz and Hudson finishing the last two games.
August 7, 200719 yr They could really use a sweep, but more than anything they need to not get swept or even drop 2 of 3. Now is the time to start making up ground, especially before the Mets get fully healthy.
August 7, 200719 yr Author Anyone that is interested in watching the series. Wednesday's game is on ESPN and Thursday's game is on TBS.
August 7, 200719 yr Author Is the game tonight televised?? Go Braves! If you have SS it is. But I doubt it so nope it won't be on around here.
August 7, 200719 yr If you have SS it is. But I doubt it so nope it won't be on around here. Dang...was hoping TBS or ESPN would pick it up.
August 8, 200719 yr Author ^ That's what I'm screamin, Francouer and Diaz with a homerun I do believe.
August 8, 200719 yr I'm on CBS Sportsline. One disappointing thing I'm noticing is that Philly is destroying Florida. I want them to lose a few as well.
August 8, 200719 yr Author Braves blew a bases-loaded no out opportunity big time. Francouer ground to a force out at home, McCann popped out, and Johnson struck out. Good pitching by the Mets.
