April 5, 200719 yr If Calapari is hired, you'd have to lock up EVERYTHING on campus with the type of guys he likes. Plus, he's got it made at Memphis....easy conference/schedule and easy recruiting. He never has to leave the city of Memphis. Thats where you're wrong...he recruits Memphis less than any other prior coach...He gets great players from everywhere, with an especially strong hold on the east coast and Texas...

That's because of the conference and competiton that his teams have played against. If he was in the SEC his teams would be ready for NCAA tournament competition........

That's a pretty good % of players IMO. You don't see similar schools, such as Louisville, having a roster like that do you?

The boosters at UK are much more aggressive and "rich" than those at Memphis. His players would be getting paid NBA cash at UK before long IMO.

Sandy Bell is as tough as they come, and would not allow this kind of thing to happen. It's not on Cal, its on the compliance office.

Besides, if you get that far every year, you're bound to get further every now and then and it's a whole lot better than just hoping to get a better than an 8 seed and hoping to get through the 1st round, wouldn't you say.
