So one inch is the difference between D1 and D2?

 

Austin is not 6'3 I tend to agree with an earlier post that says he is more like 6'1 or 6'2 at most. I think he can make a D-1 roster and possibly play by the time he is a junior or Senior. Probably not going to be at a Duke/Florida/etc but there are several D-1 schools out there that are smaller where he could make the roster.

 

My point which obviously wasnt very clear is that if he goes the D2 route he will be more of an impact player right away.

 

I am pulling for him so I hope he picks X where I think he could possibly fit in. With Johnny Wolf leaving and Burell becoming a SR they need a future PG and I don't see Austin being that. This is probably going to be a concern for Austin when he visits there. I see him as a 2G, Joe Crawford type anywhere he goes.

The kid averaged 20 a game...sorry he only scored 15 against the state's best team to drop his average from 23 a game to 20 in the state tournament.
