June 14, 200719 yr WOW. Homer comes out and doesn't throw a ball, 3 up and 3 down. What a start to the game for him.
June 14, 200719 yr That was an efficient inning....8 pitches, Arroyo needs to take notice. Nothing wrong throwing 80 pitches through 3. SHEESH!
June 14, 200719 yr We shouldn't have to make a big deal out of a 2 out clutch hit, BUT since it rarely happens with Dunn, let's enjoy it.
June 14, 200719 yr Isn't Dunn either leading or near the top, for Reds RBI's....When he's gone, who will fill that void.
June 14, 200719 yr Isn't Dunn either leading or near the top, for Reds RBI's....When he's gone, who will fill that void. Dunn now has 39, Phillips has 34. It would have to be a team effort picking up those runs that Dunn drove in.

June 14, 200719 yr Best stat I saw last night: Vladdy is 16 for 28 scoring the runner from 3rd with less than 2 outs. Dunn is, after last night, 7 for 10. Griffey has about 16 chances and is under 50%. The two biggest things that this screams: 1) Look who has the best percentage of those 3 -- you'd have lost that bet (as would I have). 2) Look how many more attempts to drive in a run from 3rd with less than 2 outs Vladdy has with Figgins and Cabrera in front of him than Dunn has had. That flat out isn't his fault. Eye opening.
June 14, 200719 yr For the record, when fans don't appreciate the talent and production that a player brings, other teams do....
June 14, 200719 yr So much for keeping down that pitch count. Walk the lead off man, always leads to bad things.
