April 8, 200719 yr Question on Dunn's HR from Saturday. If he hits a foul ball and it hits the fielder's glove and drops, giving Dunn new life in the batter box and then Dunn hits a HR, isn't that an unearned run? Why is the HR that hit the RF in the glove and then bounced over the fence not an unearned run? Obviously it was not going over without help. If the OF had jumped and it bounced over, I could see it not being an unearned run.

April 9, 200719 yr Freel, Dunn and Edwin have been hitting well so far... I did not watch the game today, but up util then freel has hit good in one game, Dunn is on fire, and edwin is coming on, i was refering to Freel and Phillips though.

Strange how BA's are affected early in the season... Dunn is hitting .381 with 8 hits this season... Phillips is hitting .136 and only has 5 less hits...

Dunn has drawn 5 walks to Brandon's one, that's the biggest difference to me. I will be the first one to rip Adam about his strikeout total, but if he can't hit a home run or drive one in, be patient, take pitches and get on base.

His plate discpline has always been his strength almost to a tee. You don't see him striking at looking an awful lot, i would like to see the comparsion between his strike outs swinging and looking.
