Antwan (sp?) Barbour E-town 2001 (I think)

His performance throughout the tournament was nothing short of miraculous.

You're right rojas - Jimmy Warren and Cam Hundley are great to watch. You don't see them on the stat page, but they get after people.

Who are the top players to watch from EACH team that will be in the sweet 16?

I'll start first:

Holmes- Rice, Hill, Henderson, Jefferson

South Laurel- Ty Profitt

GRC- Tristian Jones, Preston Knowles

Not very familiar with any other teams players so the more input, the better. Don't just name random players though. Name players from teams who are actually known statewide and who will be exciting to see. :thumb:

I would add Twany Beckham & Jonathan Gholson Ballard ,Stepp & Cox ,JBS

There always seems to be at least one player that comes out of the wood work and makes a name for himself at the Sweet Sixteen. I this may be my favorite part of the tournament.

I bet the whole tourny is talking about a dunk by Arrez Henderson. And if he isn't the one that "comes out of the woodwork" then I bet its Greg Rice. Holmes doesn't just have 1 player that can take over a tourny they have 3 or 4.

Scott County- Bud Mackey, Matt Walls, Tyler Portwood

Clark County- Preston Knowles

Warren Central- Jeremy Anderson

JBS- Tate Cox

South Laurel-Ty Profitt

Why no Stepp ???

South Laurel- Ty Proffitt, Jordan Hammonds, and Matt St. John

Why no Stepp ???

Like Tate Cox better.

I wasn't impressed by Step when I saw him at the 5/3rd.

RIGHT!!!!!

Didn't the Cov Cath fans "yell right" when they acted like they were on the roller coaster? I'm going to miss them being in Rupp this year.

Sorry - the sfan post just struck me funny.

JMO

:thumb: Only thing I was looking @ is with a small school as JBS and @ that level it would be hard to say at this point that you post Cox and not Stepp ....

I saw June Buchanan at the 5/3 and was much more impressed with Cox than with Stepp.

I don't know how the Faulkners' and Co. will compete this year but they should be a fixture in Rupp by the time they graduate. I believe this team starts four sophomores and an 8th grader if I'm not mistaken. I wish them all luck and in two years we maybe asking how will the bigger schools match up with this little one.:thumb:

They start 5 soph's and the 8th grader comes off the bench

Stepp gets more publicity because the program is ran by his realitives, Cox is by far the best player for JBS. They just don't do much to help him(his coaches).
