Good post zb23, your right. Elliott County's defense has carried them through this tournament and they are do a good shooting night, I just hope its tomorrow.

Elliott will have to play the same defense they have played the last 2 games to win.

 

Ferguson will have a good game Monday Night IMO. They will need to box out and rebound vs the Bigger Tomcats. I like Elliott to win this game by 6.

Sounds like this game could be a "barn burner".

 

This game could really give Coach Biggs a huge season. McDavid and Thomas can handle the pressure if Ashland is close coming down the stretch.

But he didnt practice for a week is what everyone is saying, and if you dont touch a basketball for that long your gonna be a little rusty and it is gonna take a game or two to get your legs under you. Saying that, Ferguson has had two games now to shake the rust and I predict he has a big game on Monday night.

McDavid will have to dominate for Ashland to have a chance. If he gets into foul trouble like in the semifinals, Ashlands done. McDavid is the difference maker and the Tomcats are not the same team without him.

If everyone will remember last year Ashland beat Elliot Co at Blazer by around 8-10. Then Elliot beat them in the regionals by 2. It's basically the same team's as last year as well. Could the opposite take place this year? :sssh:

Dr. Dawg, not sure how you would have a clue how the flu affected the young man. I do know that not shooting a ball during practice for a week almost always has adverse consequences.

It is very common for the flu to last for "seven day's". You can learn that from a doctor or by typing in flu on google. I know because all three of my kid's have had the flu in the last two week's. One of them(youngest daughter) lasted three day's! The other daughter lasted four day's before she started feeling better! My son had it for six day's still throwing up on the 4th and 5th

day, and still with bad chest congestion on the 6th day, which was saturday.

today which is the 7th his color is back to normal congestion pretty well gone

and he had a great practice, so there will be no excuse's, they never are!!

Drew McDavid will be the key to this game. I have seen him take control of ballgames and give his team oppurtunities to win. Like its been said already, I dont see anyone dominating this game, but whoever controls the boards will be in a situation to win in the end. Good luck to Drew McDavid, Robby Wilcox, Tyler Salyers, Jeremy Rose and Coach Buddy Biggs. Should be a great game.

 

Hopefully Ashland gets to Rupp, it will be the only exciting game(s) I will have watched at Rupp this year,

Single A school, Sandy Hook will close up, huge following from the Hook, never been to big dance,5 sophs. start, would make a great movie.
