If UK and Duke played first round?

If UK and dUKe played each other in the first round would it be the biggest first round game in the history of the 64/65 Team tournament?

And here's an even better question...

Say UK plays Duke in the 1st round. UK wins but gets smashed by 15+ by a 1 seed in the second round. Is the season a success because we beat Duke? :lol:

They could put them in the same Region,and if Duke and UK just happen to make it to the sweet 16 round, they could meet there.But I think they will put Duke up with a no name team as well as kentucky in the 1st round games.

I actually thought about this a couple of days ago...would be a great 8-9 matchup...problem is that Duke will likely get pampered by the committee and get no lower than a 6 seed despite their slump. I doubt KY has fallen to an 11.

Absolutely, even though I would be mad about a loss in the second round the UK fans will tell ya they want to beat Duke more than any other team in America. We would forgive Tubby for this season if we beat the team we hate.
