Congratulations to Brossart head coach Mike Code, named by his peers as the 10th Region KABC Coach of the Year.

As discussed on a previous hot thread, there were many fine, worthy candidates in the 10th Region this year for this award.

We are honored as a program to have our head coach receive this award and proud to have him represent this incredible region.

He and his fellow honorees will be honored at a reception at the Radisson on Friday, March 23rd and introduced between games at the afternoon session of the "Sweet Sixteen" State Tournament.

Congratulations Coach Code !

Congrats to Coach Code hes a well deserving man.

Congrats to Coach Code on this award. Good luck in the postseason.

Congratulations to Coach Code on this well deserved award!! I'm sure he'd be the first to credit his staff as well--Nobody in the business works harder and sacrifices more than these guys, to prepare their kids and put them in a position to be successful!! :thumb: :thumb:

What player will be walking out with Coach Code?

What player will be walking out with Coach Code?

I assume that you are refering to the KABC Player of the Year.

Good question, I don't know.

I was just forwarded a copy of Coach Code's notification letter and it applied to him specifically.

Maybe someone else knows and will share that info.

Great to hear. Congrats on a great honor!!!:dancingpa :dancingpa

Congrats to Coach Code!!!!!!!!!

I believe I was on the first team at the middle school level he coached. We were VERY good, and I had a good seat for the action. A sign of things to come it seems. Congrats Mike... :thumb:

Knowles will be walking on the floor as POY. That is confirmed.

I think Coach Code deserves this award. A very good head coach who is always successful

Knowles will be walking on the floor as POY. That is confirmed.

Does it have to be a senior?

Does it have to be a senior?

Since the KABC POY receive an automatic tryout for the KY ALL-STAR team, yes it does.

Also, remember this is DIFFERENT AWARD than the 10th REgion Boys Coach's Association Award. That one is tied to the winner of the regional tournament.

Congrats to Coach Code and good luck in winning two more games and taking both COY honors.
