Tubby on PTI!

Featured Replies

Tubby Smith was on PTI or Pardon The Intruption. He seemed very uneasy to me when the hosts asked about his job security. If anyone else saw it I would like to know how he seemed to you, and if its just me.:sssh:

He seemed uneasy but Tubby never has been the smoothest of talkers!

I didn't see it but I would think that it may not have been "uneasy", rather sick of all the questions about it. He has a team going into post season this week and I am sure that he would rather talk about that and speak positive about their chances. I wouldn't had blamed him if he would have said excatly that! OTS has far too much class for that though. Which is more than I can say for some press members.

Glad that I am classless for just stating the obvious...

I thought that he answered the questions fine. He didn't really seem uneasy to me, I just don't think he's much of a talker. I agree with oldrambler, I'm sure he'd rather talk about the post season and his game tomorow against Alabama.

Tubby's never been the articulate one.

He never has been a good talker! Which makes him harder to read! :walk:

Tubby did quite well actually...defending his record like he should have a lot sooner. Granted, he is uncomfortable doing so and shouldn't have to, in my opinion, but the unreasonable rumblings forced his hand. Still, he did it with class and even called the UK fans the best in the country.

As usual, UK was well represented with class by Tubby on national television...something that a loud minority seem to take for granted.

I didn't say you did I :irked: ? I just made a point that Tubby has plenty of things to talk and think about other than if he will keep his job or not. I did not call you classless, just stating my opinion as you have yours. No problem here.

:thumb: :thumb: Great Post, OTS is a great ambassador for the University of Kentucky and for college basketball. Absolute class all the way in every situation.:ylsuper:

I missed the show and would like to see the interview in person....

Any links to youtube or something?

Ask you shall receive...

Interesting Tubby saying people aren't out to get him. He knows KY fans expect winning.

Articulate? "Pressure is trying to keep food on the table and a roof over your house."
