March 7, 200719 yr I disagree there. Mick was best suited to clean up the mess at UC, and AK is in the perfect situation for his career. Both guys are at home and in ideal circumstances... Cannot combat those points at all, and I think Mick will do a fine job in Cinici (as he is already started too.) AK was around when the mess happened so I can see why he, along with all the others got wiped away and put in better circumstances for themselves. So I shouldn't really have said mistake, rather than I feel Kennedy could have gotten faster results, but sometimes faster results aren't as important as getting things back on the right track from a universal standpoint. And rightfully so.

I never could have imagined that all involved would have gotten as lucky as possible to get out of Cinci unscaved and basically in better situations than what they left the school in. When it comes to luck, and having a get out of jail free card so to speak, a lot on last years bench got just that. Personally I am glad they did.

Selection Sunday last year was as bad of a sports moment as I've ever had. AK and that team deserved a spot, and looking at my dad as we realized we were out was as tough as it gets. In a lot of ways it was worse than Carson, Krumrie and Kenyon getting hurt. It was the end of an era in 30 seconds. It still hurts to this day to think about... :cry:
March 7, 200719 yr Congrats to both Lofton and Kennnedy on the honors. I finally got a prediction right and on both none the less :eek: :eek: . Both of these were my picks for the awards. Both Lofton and Kennedy are well deserving. Now, I am glad that Lofton won POY but I hope that his team bows out in the first round of the SEC tourney and and other (NIT or NCAA) that they might go to.
