So if they by some chance they get there, I can't see them beating one of the better teams. Mets, Dodgers to go to the World Series. But at the least the Cubs are a train wreck that never gets old to watch.

My father being a life long Reds fan, I always tell him that the Reds may have the three World Series titles along with several appearances in the playoffs in the 70's. But the Cubs have actually been to the playoffs 2 times in the last 10 years. Granted they lost in historic fashion, but at least they manage to get to the post season every few years to give out false hope. : )
March 6, 200719 yr Good news and bad news out of camp yesterday. Prior went 1 1/3 giving up two runs and four hits, while only throwing 17 out of 39 strikes. Wood on the otherhand had a three up, three down inning notching a K to go with it. The Cubs will be much better this season, but as a Cubs fan I have learned to acknowledge that no year is the year for the Cubs.
