Lloyd's staff

Featured Replies

The only other info I have is that Ben Nevels and Bill Pillgram will be coaching the Freshman Juggs this year. Both have been on the varsity staff for the last three or four years.

If you all think Coach Ray is going to Lloyd then you would believe he might be going to Beechwood!

Knowing and having played for coach Hobbs at CCH, it's good to see him back in the ranks. I think he will work well on the Lloyd staff. Best of Luck coach.

It was very interesting how the previous freshman head coach of ten years was terminated (Lloyd's A.D. left a message on his cell phone). A very classy move out of Yeagle/Molley camp. Not having enough guts to fire someone face to face. Some things never change.............Bring someone from the Rudy Tassini staff aboard.......Dick Wilmhoff........Marc Otto........Randy Tomlinson.

This is not slanderess this comes straight from the horses mouth.

The last years Lloyd Freshman coaching staff put together a tough team last year. I hate to hear that the Head Coach lost his job. What is his name and any word on if and where he will coach next year? Is he a teacher or just a coach?

WOW! Does anybody know why he was let go! :creepy:

From what I have heard, and I have NOT spoken to Coach French personally, is that he and the AD had words about the freshmen staff last season. Apparently this lead to their parting of the ways so to speak. I haven’t heard if Coach Yeagle had anything to do with this. I can’t imagine releasing a staff that has accomplished what Coach French and his crew have. I’ve known and coached with Dave French for over 14 years. He took a program that was a laughing stock and turned it into a solid, year-in year-out competitor.

Coach French was not a teacher. In fact, none of the freshmen coaches last year were. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I can assure you, this is not Yeagle's way of dealing w/things. Why would he rid his staff of someone who had a successful yr. This was a direct move from the administration and Yeagle had nothing to do or say w/this decision. There was some type of conflict of interest. This is the horses mouth!

Yeagle is at Lloyd to win, not cut his throat and has more class than you can imagine. I am sure if it were his decision he would have called the coach in face to face and told him what was up. For all that knows him should realize this.

Coach French and his staff have had several successful years in the past 6 years. I can only say he was let go by the AD due to differences in there opinion and what should happen. This was no decission made by Coach Yeagle from what I have heard. I myself have not heard it directly from Coach French, however, I do not beleive in firing one by telephone answering machine. Lloyd has had success and I am sure Coach Yeagle is there to make it even better and winning attitudes accross the board in no way would he want to start just getting rid of people. I am sure the AD and Coach French are the only ones that know and matter to. I am personal friends with both and feel both are very good individuals. Lloyd needs to move on and focus on the future not the past. JD

basically the same thing happened at conner with there freshman coaching staff ....

this being a lloyd thread i will not go into it too deep but Conners freshman team has been continuously successfully (even went to championship last year) and none of them where even given the respect of a phone call/message

Dick Wilmhoff would be the best coach out of all of them. Played under him and learned everything there was about football. He is a defensive specialist.

I know Randy Tomlinson was at Beechwood last year. With him and the head coach being longtime friends I wouldn't think he would be going anywhere.
