UF will be one of the teams I'll be rooting for after UK's early exit....along with other SEC teams and UL (despite their incredibly obnoxious fans on this site...) I find it very hard to root for a team with players that act like Noah and Horford do. I wanted to put my fist through the screen when Horford was posing and flexing right into the camera.
March 4, 200719 yr Same 'ol story for the Cats this season. Played very well in the first half and just couldn't match it in the second. Too much one on one and that had something to do with Morris being out most of the time. Picking up that 3rd foul to start the half really hurt, but that's starting to become his MO. Perry played out of his mind, hopefully it will continue. Gotta try and get Jodie Meeks more time. Right now I see no reason to play Jasper more than 10 minutes a game. It's like 4 against 5 on the offensive side. On another note, It's been a long time since I hated watching a player play as much as I do Joakim Noah. Just absolutely can not stand the kid. One of these days he's going to pull those chest beating stunts on the wrong guy and get slammed. Kind of disappointed that no player for UK stood up to him.

March 4, 200719 yr I don't think Kentucky's defense is as good as everyone gives them credit for. And if a Tubby Smith team can't play defense, what is it exactly that they do? Also, the past two seasons have resulted in almost a feeling of apathy for me personally in regards to this team. That is awful to say, but I just can't afford to care any more, it takes too much out of me.
March 4, 200719 yr Great half by Perry. He was shut down after UF made their adjustments at halftime. 2 pts in the second half I think... Once Morris went to the bench and UK had effectively no inside game, they could overplay the perimeter. Hence not many open looks for Perry from behind the arc. This UK team is going to go as far as RM will take them. If he is on the floor, UK is a completely different team, because the opponent has to respect and most of the time double the post.

March 4, 200719 yr Really thought Kentucky might have a chance to steal the game after weathering a few storms in the first half. Course the 2nd half played out the way it did. For any other school, playing well at Florida, a team that is virtually unbeatable at home is a plus. For Kentucky a loss isn't acceptable. Question is, can Kentucky win a game or two next weekend.
