Florida owns us. They have better talent. They are a better team.

However, this is a Florida tema that has struggled down the stretch.

Their PBP man said he thinks UF's run from 27 down to 8 against Tennessee was when their fever finally broke...meaning they woke up from their snide.

Maybe they are getting ready for their run.

As for UK, a promising start offensively, but their defense was not so good in the first half. In the second hafl, UF ran a "conga" line to the rim. UK got simply destroyed on the boards.

Unfortunately, Tubby's gameplan was like he was in a game with South Carolina. There was no way UK could win with Morris on the bench. So 17 seconds into the second half Morris picks up his 3rd foul. 3rd not 5th...so he goes to the bench and UF extends their defense, UK turns it over, and lead shoots to 11 while Morris sits on the bench for close to 8 minutes. That is stupid. They go 6 miutes without a basket, but yet leave Thomas and Obrzut in.

Continually, OTS relies on experience over talent.

Morris comes in and we get lead to 7, he picks up his 4th and he goes to the bench from over the 8 minute mark to just over the 4 minute mark and the lead is right around 10.

Meeks didn't play as much as he should in the second half.

But the better team won...sure there were questionable calls, but Florida is better.

Is there a new rule in college basketball where an official will go tell a coach that their player is doing something unsportsmanlike and should be T'd but he will run over to the coach and tell him so he can take him out for a minute?

Florida is better. Bottom line.

Morris is the key. He has to be on the floor. It opens everything on the perimeter when he is in the paint. When Woo or Thomas is in there, the opponent knows they are not going to turn and face the basket, making it easier to defend the guys outside of the paint. Without RM UK is an average team.

Wow!!!! He signed some autographs for some Vandy fans after the game. Mother Theresa, watch out. There's a new sheriff in town. Is it too late for "TIME" to make him man of the year? It's what people see you do that is going to build your reputation. What do we see the kid do? PUNK out. Was he not the same guy who swiped at a cheerleader in the Rupp game? Maybe she'll get an autograph....

And don't forget, he did say "Thank You" to a man who wished him well in the tourney. Maybe he can be sainted?

UK showed more life late than I expected...I congratulate them for that. I got blasted in the other thread for posting my opinion. I applaud the Wildcats' effort today. Very solid...I wonder if they can continue this focus over a long weekend...and then bring it again the following week?

If the Cats play Bama in the first round of the SEC tournament it's gonna be a short road trip for the cats.

The Cats will play either Bama or Auburn on Thursday depending on todays outcome in the other SEC games.

Hopefully the Cats can play a complete game when the tourney begins.

I didn't see it. What does swatting at a cheerleader mean exactly?

No, not this year. Rittalin might help, or Prozac, but the focus just is not there for more than 20 minutes at a time.

After he had taunted the cheerleaders after he was fouled on a previous play, he came back down the floor and fouled a UK player on the shot and fell in front of the cheerleaders. One shook her pom-pom in his direction and he took a swipe with his hand and arm at her. ESPN showed it like 5 or 6 times.

I find it very hard to root for a team with players that act like Noah and Horford do. I wanted to put my fist through the screen when Horford was posing and flexing right into the camera.

I agree, I can't imagine myself pulling for them at anytime with this crew of showboats  . Florida won't, but it would absolutely please me to no end to see them get beat in the NCAA 1st round.

Now, as for this game. I agree that we flat got whipped by a better basketball team today. I complained on the officiating or lack there in the 1st half on the update thread but officiating didn't cost the Cats this game. Florida is just flat out better than us, that is the bottom line.

On to the SEC tourney, hopefully we (UK) can put a string of some good games together. I wish that I could send UF good luck wishes in the NCAA but I just can't bc of the reasons explained above.

In no way am I bailing out on this U.K. team. Jmo a true fan does not do that - if anyone else wants to (bail) please do so and don't return after a win  . U.K. doesn't need bandwagon fans.

We shall see. I think Bama beating MSU today will be helpful, setting up UK vs. Auburn in the first round and Ole Miss in the second game(if UK were to win). Then Vandy, South Carolina or Mississippi State. I like UK's chances if that happens. If Bama wins it will be a little tougher having to play Bama in the first game(I think they are a much more difficult matchup than anyone else in the West).

That's just one example, did I say anything about it or did I just ask if you heard it? Don't take out your aggression towards UK on one person, it's not his fault. Anyways, back to the game, I think UK's biggest downfall was Morris picking up that early foul in the 2nd half.

He fell near the cheerleaders on the baseline when playing at Rupp. He proceeded to swat at seated UK cheerleader who was shaking her pompoms.

^ That's not exactly how it happened...and everyone knows that by now.

People like to hate on Noah...bottom line he plays with passion and heart. Sure he goes overboard, but it is refreshing.

So what, he called us Kitty-Cats.

Just like when I thought too many people overplayed the Baby Davis comments.

Really, UK fans should just call Noah, "Daddy".
